Exotic Oils for Your Face and Body

Exotic oils from the far corners of the globe are the new fuel for the beauty industry.

Always make sure your purchase is high quality, unrefined, good color, and aroma. Many of these exotic oils which are more expensive are often cut by adding inferior oils.

Buy from companies that will provide information on their sources, their origins and how the oils are produced.

All of these oils are infused with hydrating nutrients and antioxidants. They are all beneficial for anti-aging.

Here are some examples:

Tamanu Oil a nut from the Calophyllium, is a great multipurpose aid to your health care. This tree is found in Africa, Asia, and the South Pacific. It is an oil that is anti-inflammatory, antibacterial, and antifungal. Tamanu is effective for sunburns, rashes, wounds, acne, scars, insect bites, and dry skin. It can also be rubbed on painful joints or bruises.

Marula seed oil, lychee like fruit that produces a pink oil and is also grown in Africa. It is rich in essential fatty acids, amino acids, proteins, and antioxidants. This oil helps repair sun-damaged skin and it smooths and softens fine lines of aging skin. It is lightweight and absorbs easily.

Pomegranate seed oil from the Mediterranean and the Middle East have strong anti-inflammatory properties. Studies suggest it can help prevent skin cancer by inhibiting an enzyme that starts abnormal cell formation. It is very popular for its good effects on heart health. It is very soothing and hydrating for dry and sensitive skin.

Argan oil is from a plant found only in Morocco. The fruit kernels produce this oil that is high in vitamin E, hydrating Fatty acids and antioxidants. Argan oil helps moisturize and nourish skin, nails, and hair. It is a great whole-body moisturizer and stretch mark remedy. It can even be used as a leave-in conditioner for the hair.

All of the above oils are also used as a carrier oil when blending Essential oils for aromatherapy purposes.
