Hit Refresh to Start Your New Year

Hit Refresh to Start Your New Year

All these New Year resolutions; Lose weight, eat this, try this diet, or do this exercise, can turn into false promises that end up on the cutting room floor!

Instead, just hit the refresh button, try something small that is easier to accomplish and not such a drastic change.

Quick fixes or fad diets never work in the long run. Those goals are hard to keep and even if it works for the first month or two you stop and things just go back to the same status quo.

Here’s some real-world advice from healthy gurus to help you supercharge your life in the New Year.

Lee Holmes from Superchargedfood.com says she starts out the day with a Tablespoon of Love Your Gut powder. Your gut is the gateway to health, beauty, and happiness; so, start out the day on the right foot!

This powder is diatomaceous earth (food grade), which helps clean out the build-up of toxins in the body.

Use this Overnight Breakfast Jar recipe:  ½ cup fresh or frozen berries, pinch of cinnamon or vanilla, 3 Tablespoon of chia seeds, 1cup milk or filtered water, 1 Tablespoon of diatomaceous earth, 3 Tablespoons of coconut flakes (optional). Combine all ingredients in a jar and refrigerate overnight. Eat for breakfast.

You can also help your tummy by adding a probiotic that helps build up the good bacteria and can calm down those yucky digestive issues.

If you only have an hour at the gym, Adam Rosante, thecreatorcall.com, says do strength training or if you have time, for one thing, do daily meditation for your health and to calm the mind.

So far this is easy stuff, just putting one new thing on your calendar to help your body.

Of course, if you find this new habit is working you can try adding another in a month or two because as these habits become routine you can start another healthy habit!

Dr. Tieraona Low Dog, at drlowdog.com recommends starting your day with avocado toast and top it with hardboiled egg slices. This is loaded with hero ingredients; nutrients like minerals, vitamins, and Omega 3 fatty acids.

This is also high in antioxidants, protein, and fiber; this helps your heart, your brain, and lowers inflammation.
