Making Health Remedies Using Essential Oils

There are so many Essential oils (EO) out there with similar benefits that could be used. I suggest you try some of these suggestions below.

After a little practice you can try blending a few of your favorites into your own personal recipe!

For Resolving Symptoms:

Cough Syrup

Ingredients:

1 drop lemon EO

1 drop ginger EO

1 drop peppermint EO

1 teaspoon of raw honey

Combine in a small jar, mix well and consume as needed.

 

Muscle and Pain Rub

Ingredients:

½ cup coconut or arnica oil

¼ cup of beeswax

2 teaspoons cayenne powder

15 drops of ginger EO

15 drops of peppermint EO

Two teaspoons of hempseed oil

  1. In a small saucepan add 2inches of water; on low to medium heat.
  2. Add coconut oil and beeswax in a bowl that will fit over top of pan; stir till it melts. Add cayenne and ginger.
  3. Once combined, allow it to cool, and then add hempseed and other essential oils.
  4. Pour into glass containers. Allow to set. Store in a cool dark place.

 

Sleep Potion

Ingredients:

2 drops of lemon grass EO

2 drops lavender EO

2 drops of Ylang Ylang EO

Add Fractionated Coconut oil as needed to blend with essential oils. About 2-4 teaspoons. Mix well.

Rub a few drops of the mixture onto your neck at night before going to sleep.

If you need an even extra boost to help you sleep………. I suggest taking 1-2 ounces of 100% Tart Cherry juice 15-30 minutes before bed.
