Bergamot is a tropical citrus fruit, the size if an orange but looks like a lime. Citrus aurartiam essential oil (EO) is made from the rind of the fruit and has a sweet slightly spicy flavor.

How to Use Bergamot Essential Oil

To get rid of headaches, or stress, rub 2 drops of bergamot on temples, back of the neck to decrease cortisol hormone. Or you can use a diffuser with 5 drops, in your bedroom.

If you are having respiratory issues, rub 2-3 drops on your chest and throat or diffuse into the room.

Rub Bergamot EO on your abdomen for digestive issues.

Exceptions:

It is recommended if you have sensitive skin; to blend a carrier oil with your EO whenever using directly on the skin.

Bergamot may react to sunlight or rarely cause irritation or rash; do not use when in sunlight.
