Amla Oil for Hair and Skin, Cold Pressed, 4 oz

Amla oil has been part of hair oiling in India for generations, and it's one of the easiest oils to love: light, mild and simple. Tropical Holistic Amla Oil is pure amla oil from the Indian gooseberry, cold pressed and left unrefined, with nothing added. Use it as a pre-wash scalp oil, a drop of shine for dry ends, or the base of your own hair masks and face oils.

Amla oil for hair

• Pre-wash scalp massage: Part your hair, massage a few drops into the scalp and work the rest through the lengths. Leave it on for 30 minutes or overnight, then shampoo. Hair comes out soft and manageable.
• Dry ends: Warm 1 to 3 drops between your palms and smooth them over dry ends and flyaways for softness and shine without a heavy feel.
• Hot oil treatment: Stand the bottle in a cup of warm water for a few minutes, then apply to hair and cover with a towel or shower cap before you wash.

Amla oil for skin

• Face: Press 2 to 3 drops into damp skin after cleansing, or add a drop to your moisturizer to soften dry skin.
• Brows, cuticles and heels: A drop conditions brows and softens rough cuticles, elbows and heels.

A little goes a long way

Start with 2 or 3 drops. Too much can leave hair looking oily, so add more only if you need it.
