A face oil that sinks in, not sits on - as long as you go easy.

Three or four drops is the whole application. Used sparingly, Nature's Glow disappears into skin in a couple of minutes and leaves it soft rather than slick. Used heavily, like any face oil, it will sit on the surface. This is the single thing that decides whether you get on with it.

It is built around green tea seed oil and squalane, two of the fastest-absorbing oils there are. Most green tea skincare uses a leaf extract in a water base; this is oil pressed from the seed. Underneath that, rosehip and argan carry the fatty acids that dry, tight or dull-looking skin is usually missing, and jojoba keeps the blend close to what skin makes on its own.

It is lightly scented, not unscented. There is a soft rose note that most people stop noticing within about twenty minutes. If you prefer skincare that smells of nothing, this is not that, and we would rather tell you now.

Who it's for
Dry, normal, combination and mature skin. Also worth trying if your skin is oily but dehydrated - that tight-but-shiny combination often responds well to an oil.

How to use it
Warm three or four drops between your fingertips and press into clean, slightly damp skin. Damp skin helps the oil spread and absorb rather than sit. Most people use it at night, when there is no rush. Follow with moisturizer, or use it alone.

How long it lasts
About four to six months at nightly use. At 2 fl oz this is twice the size of a standard 1 fl oz serum, which works out to under 20c a day.

How to use

Apply oil to clean face. Massage oil onto face and neck using fingertips, smooth gently over the desired areas. Allow to absorb completely.

FAQ

Will a face oil break me out?

Possibly — any oil might, on the wrong face. What we can tell you is
what's in it. Squalane and jojoba sit near the bottom of every
pore-clogging scale going, and green tea seed oil absorbs rather than
sitting on the surface. If you're acne-prone, try two or three drops at
night for a week before you decide. That's a more useful test than
anything we could promise you here.

Can I wear it under makeup?

Yes. Give it two or three minutes first, then your usual base. Two drops
is enough for daytime — more than that and you may find your makeup
moves around.

Morning or night?

Either. Most people use it at night, when there's no hurry for it to
absorb. If you use it in the morning, sunscreen goes on top of it, not
underneath.

How much do I actually need?

Three or four drops for your whole face and neck. Face oils are almost
always over-applied. If your skin still feels slick after five minutes,
you used too much — which is easy to fix and costs you nothing but the
next few drops.

What does it smell like?

Faintly of rose, from the essential oil, and it fades within a few
minutes. There's no synthetic fragrance in it. If you're someone who
wants skincare to smell like nothing at all, this isn't quite that.

How long does a bottle last?

Four to six months if you use it nightly at three or four drops. Heavier
use, correspondingly less. At 2 fl oz it's twice the size of most
serums sold in 1 fl oz bottles.

How should I store it, and how long does it keep?

Cool and out of direct sun — a drawer or a cabinet, not a windowsill.
Use it within twelve months of opening.

Is it vegan? Do you test on animals?

Yes, and no.
